our story - a legacy of love!

Gallery J exists within a 33-unit office warehouse complex known as Casselberry Commerce Village. Jacque, owner of Gallery J, created the conceptual design for the building, and her husband David constructed it from the ground up on 4.5 acres in Winter Springs, Florida. Then, constructing a ‘dream-within a-dream’- something especially close to their hearts: a 1,450-square-foot art studio for Jacque. As a Certified General Contractor, the bones of the building came from David’s experience—and the heart and soul of the studio design came from Jacque.

On a trip to their home in Montana, David asked Jacque to sketch her next dream art studio. She did so, right then and there on a Delta SkyMiles cocktail napkin. That vision soon became an amazing reality as well. Her 36 x 48 oil painting of a young male moose hung in Glacier International Airport and graced the cover of a local magazine in Bigfork.

Jacque’s artistic journey began early, shaped by the guidance of her grandfather and uncle. Over time, her talents blossomed into portrait photography. This developed into commissioned charcoal, acrylic, and oil paintings—each a one-of-a-kind piece for her clients; even to include mural art in luxury homes.

The magic didn’t stop there. One admirer asked to host a party in the gallery studio, and Jacque agreed. Word spread quickly: the speakeasy ambiance and jazz-club feel made it one of the most celebrated venues in the region. That led Jacque to acquire the suite next to Gallery J, which she transformed into J Street—a one-of-a-kind space modeled after Montmartre, an outdoor artist’s area overlooking Paris. Jacque’s Paris easel sits on the loft of J Street, adding authenticity. The overall effect of this combination makes a guest feel as if they’re in a jazz club stepping into a courtyard at night under 600 twinkling stars. It can translate to anywhere in the world, depending on the food and music selections.

Beyond her art adorning the walls, Jacque brings unmatched attention to detail for every event. Whether it’s rose petals falling precisely at ‘I do’, or creating an atmosphere that evokes emotion and elegance, each moment is incomparable. Nowhere else can guests walk a 25’ yellow brick road to their photobooth; not to mention the fantasy dressing and photography suite for weddings and vow renewals. Over 12 years, she’s built not just a venue, but a brand people trust—a gallery as exclusive and compelling as the masterpieces within it.

Together, Gallery J with the addition of J Street (3,000 sf) have been hailed as truly exceptional. A corporate client list includes ABC, CBS, Dateline, Hallmark, Darden Restaurants, Amgen, Sonepar, TNS and Cryos International to name a few.  In addition to galas and events - music videos, commercials, concerts, interviews and styled photography shoots have all been in the regular mix here.

With hardwood floors, 16 ft. brick walls, a baby grand piano and beautiful original art that commands attention, Gallery J isn’t just beautiful—it’s transformative. You can sense the layers of love and laughter within the walls. The greatest challenge Jacque now faces is finding time to paint amid the constant flow of events. Still, each gathering is a celebration, elevated by dedicated staff whose warmth and enthusiasm turn clients into lifelong fans. The number of repeat parties—and glowing feedback—continues to be her greatest reward.

What David and Jacque created extends well beyond buildings and studios.  It’s a partnership that turned vision into reality, and love into legacy. Anyone stepping into Gallery J isn’t just entering a venue—they’re entering a story, written together, one brushstroke and brick at a time.
